Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 15 June 2026
Welcome to Tes Jewelry. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from our online store. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our store.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website.
1. About Us
Tes Jewelry (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a jewelry retailer based in Lusaka, Zambia, operating an online store and a physical shop. Our contact details are provided at the end of these Terms.
2. Using Our Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use of, our website by anyone else. You must not misuse our website by introducing harmful material or attempting to gain unauthorised access to it.
To place an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract.
3. Products
We make every effort to describe and display our products as accurately as possible. However:
- Product images are for illustration. Because jewelry is photographed under different lighting and viewed on different screens, the actual colour, finish, and appearance may vary slightly from what you see online.
- Sizes, weights, and measurements are approximate unless stated otherwise.
- All products are subject to availability. We may update or remove products from our store at any time.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are listed in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) unless stated otherwise and include or exclude applicable taxes as indicated at checkout.
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.
- While we try to ensure all prices are correct, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of items you have ordered, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to continue at the correct price or cancel the order.
- Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering, using the payment methods available at checkout. Orders are not processed until payment is confirmed.
5. Orders
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation. This confirms we have received your order; it does not mean we have accepted it.
A contract between you and us is formed only when we confirm that your order has been accepted and is being processed. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example where:
- The product is out of stock
- There has been a pricing or description error
- Payment cannot be verified
- We suspect fraudulent activity
If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
6. Shipping and Delivery
We aim to process and deliver orders within the timeframes shown at checkout or communicated to you. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
- Delivery charges, where they apply, will be shown at checkout.
- Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the order has been delivered to you or your nominated address.
- If you are not available to receive a delivery, additional delivery charges may apply.
Please make sure your delivery details are accurate, as we are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect information.
7. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If there is a problem with your item, please contact us as soon as possible.
- If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within a reasonable time so we can arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund.
- For hygiene reasons, certain items (such as earrings) may not be eligible for return unless they are faulty.
- Returned items should be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging where possible.
Please contact us before returning any item so we can guide you through the process.
8. Product Care and Warranty
Jewelry should be handled and stored with care. We are not responsible for damage resulting from normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or improper care after delivery. Where a product has a specific warranty, the warranty terms will be made available to you.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is owned by or licensed to Tes Jewelry and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content from our website without our written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for matters that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Privacy
Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information. Please review it alongside these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our store will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Zambian courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. By continuing to use our website after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.
